Environmental science is a course that incorporates the many disciplines of science as well as math, history, economics and politics. The goal of this course is to learn to evaluate and offer suggestions for correcting or preventing environmental problems personally, locally and internationally. The integration of social, cultural, economic and scientific issues makes solving environmental problems difficult, so to begin, students must have a basic understanding of all of these issues. All subjects that involve people and culture also relate to morals and values. In this course we will evaluate the values of different cultures and compare them with the values of God as they relate to the natural environment, its purpose and our purpose in it. This course is current and relevant to the lives of students both now and in the future.
